Google Stadia players react to closing news

Google Stadia is closed and this means that players and developers who have played these games are adapting to the news. Dozens of players took to social media to remember the service. What was most interesting was the developers who shared that they had projects launched for the project. Now, with the platform in trouble, they’re all wondering what’s going to happen. Regarding existing libraries, there is a recovery system in place. For those games that will be released, the future is somewhat more uncertain. Everything spins before things are resolved. Check out some of the reactions below for yourself.

“A few years ago, we also launched a consumer gaming service, Stadia. While Stadia’s approach to consumer game streaming was built on a strong technology foundation, it hasn’t gained as much traction with users as we had expected, so we made the difficult decision to start ending Stadia’s streaming service.”

“We are grateful to the dedicated Stadia players who have been with us since the beginning. We will refund all Stadia device purchases made through the Google Store, and all game and additional content purchases made through the Stadia Store. Continue to access your game library and play until January 18th (January 2023) so they can complete their final play sessions. We expect to complete most refunds by mid-January 2023.”
